Northeast Tarrant Right to Life Educational Association is a pro-life organization based in Tarrant County, Texas. We are an ecumenical Christian group united in our support for human life and the common belief in each individual’s fundamental right to be treated with dignity and respect. Our main focus is to educate the public on the value of human life from the moment of conception in the hope that the life of the unborn child will be protected from conception to natural birth.

Northeast Tarrant Right to Life Educational Association (NETRTL) is a 501(c)(3) organization. Donations are tax deductible to the extent permitted by law. Our association is organized to receive and maintain funds subject to the restrictions set forth in our charter and to use and apply the income received exclusively for charitable, religious, scientific, literary, or educational purposes as defined under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

Dear Members of the Advisory Board, Benefactors and Friends;

This newsletter is designed to keep you informed on the activities of the Northeast Tarrant Right to Life Educational Association, a prolife organization promoting the sanctity of life from conception to natural death. Our Association has been in existence since our founding established by a Certificate of Incorporation by the State of Texas on October 28^th, 1985. We attempt to keep everyone in Northeast Tarrant County informed about pro-life efforts locally as well as throughout the state. It is only with your prayers and monetary support that we are able to continue our pro-life efforts thorough out Northeast Tarrant County. We constantly strive to help save unborn babies from the horror of abortion.

We are continuing the work of our esteemed former chairman, Mr. “Bill” Pasteur. Bill was a Texas pro-life activist who spent many years protecting the unborn until his death in 2010. In his memory, we annually honor an individual or individuals with our prestigious “Bill Pasteur Defender of Life” award. The well deserving recipient of the 2015 award is Mr. Ralph Zuranski. Ralph is a dedicated pro-life activist who founded the “Prayer Warriors”, a dedicated group who almost daily conduct a prayerful protest at a Planned Parenthood facility in Bedford, TX. Ralph, among his many other pro-live activities, also helped organize a “Protest Planned Parenthood” event in Bedford that drew over 200 participants to protest the selling of baby parts by Planned Parenthood. We are indeed fortunate to have a staunch, pro-life activist representing the interests of pre-born babies in Tarrant County.

NET Right to Life EVENTS AND ACTIVITIES

• Currently updating of our prolife website to a new format. (www.netrighttolife.com). Your contributions fund this website.
• We awarded two $1200 college scholarships in 2015 to two unwed mothers who elected life for their babies. One was a student from Trinity High School, the other, a student from LD Bell High School, both in the HEB School District. It was only through the generous contributions from people like you that we were able to award a second scholarship this year. If our fund raising response to this newsletter is as generous as last year, we hope to award other deserving applicants a scholarship in 2016.
• Again, several Directors supported the “40 Days for Life” campaign at Fort Worth’s Planned Parenthood abortion mill. Although this facility was closed temporarily after passage of HB2 it has reopened and is again killing babies.
• We continue to sponsor prolife advertisements at religious and community gatherings. Although our usually successful prolife booth at Arbor Daze in Euless, Texas, was rained out this year, we are looking forward to providing a booth for 2016. Again, your contributions enable us to pay the registration fee and to provide free prolife literature to festival visitors.
• Distributed thousands of prolife pamphlets and handouts. We’ve talked to several hundred people during our protests on the sanctity of life and the need to vote for pro-life political candidates.
• We continued our monthly “First Tuesday for Life" protests at the Planned Parenthood Office in Bedford, Texas. Many people are not aware that PP receives over $500 million of our tax dollars annually. Of course, all of you are aware of the very negative publicity Planned Parenthood received from the videos exposing them for selling baby parts from aborted babies. Please join us in demanding that Congress de-fund Planned Parenthood!

PROLIFE NEWS
The Northeast Tarrant Right to Life Educational Association was the focal point for organizing two nationally conducted “Protest Planned Parenthood” rallies that received nationwide publicity. Our first rally attracted over 200 participants and just under 100 on the second rally. A great testimony to the sanctity of life and demonstrating the disgust that Planned Parenthood is selling aborted baby parts for profit. This must be stopped while we continue to cultivate a culture of life to end the evil of abortion that plagues our nation.

Consequently, our efforts are focused on Planned Parenthood since they are the largest provider of abortions in Texas and in our country. Their primary financial generator is abortions, yet they receive thousands of federal tax dollars every year. Last year, Planned Parenthood received over $540 million dollars in federal tax funds. This funding must stop and we need to hold our elected representatives to task and make them suspend ALL funding to Planned Parenthood.

We are an ecumenical prolife organization of all Christian faiths seeking help to continue our prolife work. Our Association is always seeking new members.
